OBIEE 11G 11.1.1.7 Agent (Scheduler) Configuration step by step process.
If we want to schedule in OBIEE first we need to check in Repository table exists are not?
in 11G RCU will create these below listed table default. if not we can create using scripts available in schema folder.

In this post we see how to configure e-mail using FMW Enterprise Manager and also we create an agent to send emails to external users.
Configure Email settings:
Login to Fusion Middleware Control Enterprise manager (http://yourservername:7001:/em) using Admin user credentials
Navigate to Mail tab (Business Intelligence > coreapplication > Deployment>Scheduler
Provide your Repository DB information.
Database: Oracle 11G
DataSource: TNSNames.ora details
Username: DEV_BIPLATFORM
Password: welcome ( for me i used password)
Navigate to Mail tab (Business Intelligence > coreapplication > Deployment>Mail
Apply mail server details and Click on Apply and then click on Activate changes
Click on Restart to Apply recent changes and Click on Restart services.
Click on Close it is done successfully.
Goto=> Analytics
- Login to OBIEE Web (http://localhost:9704/analytics)
- Click New in the Global header and then select Agent and Actionable Intelligence
- In the Schedule tab and then select Once from the Frequency list box.
Add sent to recipients list .
I am using for testing in my local system Winmail server for sending mail alert.
Currently there are not emails in my inbox.
In OBIEE home page we can see alter symbol for our scheduled report.
Then can see the one new mail in my inbox.
We can open attached PDF file.
